Jacobs began studying acting when she was eight years young and attended Saturday lessons in acting at The Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed in the Pittsburgh Public Theater, where she took home the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest many times. Mt. Jacobs graduated from Lebanon High School, New York in 2000. Then she moved into New York City in order to pursue studies in Juilliard School. Juilliard School. In 2004, she earned a bachelor degree.
